Last Friday, the team at HFL Building Solutions Group came together for a fantastic Macmillan Coffee Morning, enjoying a morning of coffee, cake and great company — all while raising money for an incredibly important cause.
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved, we’re delighted to have raised an amazing £655.01 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is a brilliant way for people to come together and show their support for those living with cancer, as well as their families and loved ones.
Our team certainly embraced the opportunity, with plenty of delicious treats on offer and colleagues getting involved throughout the morning. It was a great chance to take a break from the usual working day, catch up with colleagues and support a charity that provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer.
One of the highlights of the morning was undoubtedly the charity head shave, with Andrew and Chris bravely volunteering to put their hair on the line!
The pair were fantastic sports and helped make the event even more memorable, while raising additional funds for Macmillan in the process. We’re hugely grateful to both of them for getting involved — and we’re sure they’ll be enjoying their new looks!
A special thank you must also go to Ellie Saxton, who organised such a fantastic morning and helped bring everyone together.
Events like this don’t happen without the time and effort that goes on behind the scenes, and Ellie’s organisation helped make the Coffee Morning a real success.
We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, whether by bringing along treats, making a donation, taking part in the activities or simply joining us and helping create such a brilliant atmosphere.
Raising £655.01 is a fantastic achievement, and we’re proud that our team could come together to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
The morning was a great reminder of what can be achieved when colleagues come together for a shared cause — and, of course, it was a great excuse to enjoy plenty of cake along the way!
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who made the event possible. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to get together and support another worthwhile cause.
